When the NBA Season ends I’m considering looking to get my basketball fix and broaden my horizons by watching International ball, something I really know nothing about. I live in New York City and don’t know where I can find a sportsbar or a cable network that carries those games. Any suggestions?

I do not have a clue myself. I normally get stuck watching ESPN Classic and watching the great games of the 80s-90s over and over and over again. If you find anything out, please be sure and pass it along as others are needing the fix as well

Mark and Matt, you’ll probably not find any international ball on cable. Your best bet is to subscribe to NBA TV, which carries an “International Game of the Week” (at least it did last year).

The article on Pete Maravich states he was drafted to the St. Louis Hawks. I belive they had already moved to Atlanta.
